Tonight we were down on the canal for a litter pick, so armed with our litter pickers we ran to the canal before filling a bag full of litter. We then had a pleasant walk in what was somewhat mild temperatures compared to last week up to Aston Lock were we dropped off the bags.

After that we headed to Millenium Point to do some intervals. We haven't done these for a long time so it was good to get back to some old GG ways!

The session was 30 secs/45/1min/1min/ 45/ 30 secs, all off 45 secs rest. James and Morwenna certainly blew the 'interval cobwebs' away with the session!

Once done it was a steady run back to 1000 Trades, for a nice 6k in total :)

This evening we gave the task a miss due to the cold weather and had a steady walk and run around the Jewellery Quarter. Watching out for the ice and slippy spots, we headed out for a 5km run and ending back at 1000 Trades for a cool down and warm up inside!

Tonight on a previously forecast dry evening we were greeted with great weather for ducks!

We welcomed Hugh for the first time who as you can see put a shift in on our litter pick. We even found a brush on our rounds.

After a good litter pick Morwenna and Jonny did a 4k run and it even stopped raining for us! Hooray!

Great mission to help support the JQ Festival team, including supporting with looking after the brilliant JQ Themed mini-golf and handing out guides.

Tonight 4 GoodGymers got doing some tree clipping and carrying bags back to the other side of the Jewellery Quarter cemetry.

James and Jonny got clipping, with being the tallest. The idea being to clip the trees back enough so to clear the path for people to walk past, hence a barber's favourite a short, back and sides!

Eve and Sofeen bagged up the branches before taking them to be composted.

After we were done James and Jonny headed for a 3k run, whilst our walkers headed back with Josie, Eve looking after her legs after going 'hell for leather' at a cycling time trial last night!

Tonight we were joined by Jo and the team from Avanade as our task was to move some composters from a pub down to one of the Jewellery Quarter's grave yards.

You can see from the pictures this was no easy task as the alleyway we had to get it through was quite tight to say the least!

We got one composter down, then the idea was to wrap it with some plastickie stuff, but unfortunately somebody hadn't filled the staple gun so we had no staples!

Oh well, that meant we could go and move another composter instead, so still a good job done! So in the end that was the job wrapped up! Just not quite the way we expected!
