A collaborative partnership of active and connected local residents, businesses and organisations building and supporting positive action in Knowle West
The Knowledge is delivered to every home in Knowle West and provides a valuable form of communication about local services including cost of living support, activities and opportunities as well as positive local stories and more. It is especially useful for the many local residents who are not digitally connected.
20 GoodGymers have supported Knowle West Alliance with 6 tasks.

Every now and again we get to venture up one of Bristol's many hills. Rarer still, it's for the task of leafletting so even more steps. On Tuesday at least that bit was downhill!
Liam tracked us down in Queen Square and fitted right in with commiserating about the number of Bristol's bridges currently shut and playing havoc with our easy route planning. The GoodGym Swim may yet happen!
We were answering an urgent call from the Knowle West Alliance to deliver their community newsletter, The Knowledge, ahead of their big community festival day on Saturday 1st.
As well as mastering the art of letterbox pushing, we met a fair few residents and shopkeepers who were keen to know what was happening and also discovered just how weirdly wiggly Wedmore Vale is at the bottom with the numbers stopping and starting - no takers for being a postie here, thank you!
The Christmas decorations seem to have started already, or maybe they're late taking down from last year?
We'd soon finished what we think is the right road's houses but some was guesswork! Back to Queen Square for more chat and stretch, followed by chat and a drink at workout.
Back for more next week?

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing but we had a lot of knowledge to dispense today so all was well. Taking in the amazing bridge view we delivered The Knowledge to many and varied houses. We met people who were dogs and saw letterboxes that weren’t letter boxes. A lovely sunny day to be out. TTFN

As Uncle Ben from Spiderman says the famous quote of this run reports title. An what responsibility of logistical I may not have greatly imparted as we ran out of magazines!!
The four of us paired off and distributed the magazines of The Knowledge within the Bedminster and Knowle area. With us jogging a bit to get our heart rates up and at times, one person being the navigator and one being distributor, and at times all distributing.
How little did we all know of the great lengths of some of the Knowle streets would be and some cute dogs and cats we would encounter. So lengthy some of the streets were that we ran out of magazines to distribute!!!
Welcome to the Bristol GoodGym Mira, glad to have you here from London GoodGym. Hello again to Irena, my sqaut partner while we waited and mega hello to Nathalie!!
Part Deux to come tomorrrow!
Thanks all

Whilst it was a very soggy Sunday, 6 GoodGymmers took on the ‘green’ area of Knowle, delivering local newsletters to residents.
We were feeling ultra festive today with houses dressed in Christmas lights, candy-cane pathways and even some doors wrapped as presents (which was an added obstacle for posting some newsletters!).
I hope everyone managed to dry off, including our newest member of the GG team - Alex!

It was too chilly to stand still, so as GoodGymmers arrived and collected a bunch of leaflets, they were off exploring the sights and sounds of Knowle West. And the sights were amazing - clear blue skies and views right across Bristol.
We chatted (shouted) to each other as we delivered the Knowledge newsletter which was a great shape, size and weight for even the toughest letterbox and growly dog.
Bring on Part 2 tomorrow.
