RBKares is a charity that connects the kindness and generosity of the community in Kingston-upon-Thames with vulnerable people, Set up during the early days of the pandemic, RBKares focused initially on providing local support to hospital based NHS staff and to care homes, but has since extended its reach to other vulnerable groups including refugees and the homeless

We joined the RBKares team to sort donations in the sunshine, fuelled by tea and delicious cake!

Piles of empty boxes and full bags of donations were sorted into ages and sizes - lots to give out at their next wellbeing day, including some brilliant summer tie-die options!

Wheel wish you a RBKares Christmas

@RBKares make, collect and donate hampers of goodies for care workers in Kingstons many homes and @Goodgym were delighted to be asked to join this lovely festive giving tasks by making a few deliveries. So outfits at the ready cargo bikes borrowed from @RBKingstoncouncil and the trio of Rob Jane and Martelly with the help of ruth loaded up the bikes and off we went. The staff who answered the doors were very grateful for the presents and all had lovely big smiles for us and thanks to RBKares for thinking of them. One delivery was to a Goodgym favourite home in Ditton road where we helped put the lights up, the guys were so pleased to see us perfect end to a fun evening. Thanks for a super Christmas task

Happy to poppy by on a GoodGym mission

Well aloe, so today I rose up to the occasion and picked up a couple of handmade material poppies created by RBKares and dropped one off at a local address. Beautifully made and light as a heather. Thistle be a lovely day, today.
