Tonight 3 GoodGymers were back at the secret garden, cutting grass in a community area ready for the wildlife and the locals to enjoy

Our task this week was back st the secret garden, carrying out some work to improve their green space.

We swapped the plastic compost bin for a wooden one, giving the area more usable space. We then dug up an apple tree that's going to live in Weston Super Mare.

With all that physical work, we deserved the treats!

Happy New Year! We started our first task of the year in fine fashion, 8 GoodGymers back at the secret garden helping clear the area and make the surrounding parts presentable. Mainly decorating trees, signs and posts around the street. A huge welcome to first timer Oli, great having you on the task tonight!

Tonight the fab 5 were back at the Secret Garden, helling out tidy the area for the local community group. We swept away the leaves, weeded the public paths and steps and made the area look great.

The task owner, Pat, was there with us and treated us to some sweets, hot chocolate and sparklers, a real firework night treat.

This week we were back at the secret garden to do a spot of weeding. Expertly supervised by Sasha the cat, 4 GoodGymers cleared the public steps and pathway. We made them a bit safer from slip hazards and all around a cleaner area.

Tonight 7 GoodGymers were back at the Secret Garden in Newtown, in what seemed a very overdue visit!

After a little run and walk we were greeted by community builder Pat, who put us to work weeding, sweeping, painting and cutting - getting the area back up to spec!

A huge thank you and welcome to another 2 members this week, Charlotte and Sally, we loved having you with us and we hoped you enjoyed the session.

We're back at the secret garden next Tuesday (27th), to do some weeding on the public paths and stairs - followed by a social drink to celebrate 5 years of doing good in Exeter.
