The GG Army assembled at our home of The Showroom Cinema and headed up to our local branch of The Salvation Army on Duke Street to help give the rear of the building a fresh lick of paint to make it more presentable to the local community and users of the center.
We met with the lovely Abigail on site who told us a bit more about the charity and the evenings task.
There were some interesting words on the rear of the building which needed painting over and we were happy to oblige.
It was a two tone job with a lovely red for the brickwork and a beautiful beige for the pebble dash areas.
We got the majority of the rear of the building complete and brought the equipment back in for Abigail before getting cleaned up and saying our goodbyes to Abigail.
We headed downhill to the nearby lit Park Hill for some fitness fun with a fitness inspired game of 'duck, duck, goose' before heading back to the Showroom for stretches and drinks.
Until next time, happy running! :)
