Tonight we installed a little library! Working with Sue and Byron from S2R we dug a bit hole, set in some supports and attached the little library to the top. Finally we stocked it with some books, ready for the people of Waterloo to come along and borrow.
Thanks to tonights GoodGymmers, Kati Law, Ben Godfrey and Graham Browning.

Tonight Kati Law and I created soap making kits flavoured with calendula, lavender and rose petals. Its was a first GoodGym Huddersfield, a nice indoor task helping S2R create the kits for sale before the forthcoming festive period.

Tonight we made a library! S2R had a commission to build a local book exchange/library, so called GoodGym in to help.
Under the supervision of Byron from S2R we measured, sawed and drilled creating a very passable little library. It may take a little finishing off next week, but its well on the way.
Thanks to tonight's runners and carpenters, Kati Law, Ben Godfrey and Wendy Redmile.

We had a painting party this evening.....we painted a wall at the S2R HQ a rather lovely shade of "Shrek" green. Well done plucky painters Ben Godfrey, Louise Galvin and David Bilton.

Tonight we built a bench on the S2R allotment, or perhaps more accurately we rebuilt one that had seen better days. Well done to Ben Godfrey and Wendy Redmile for their woodworking skills, Kati Law for holding the screws (amongst other things) and Byron from S2R for providing the job.

We always love an indoor job, and we especially enjoy a job with snacks. Byron from Support 2 Recovery (S2R) came good on both counts tonight. We had a great task to strip old paint from a wall in the S2R basement and do a spot of new painting too, with tea, coffee and biscuits included....thanks Byron!
Thanks also to Kati Law, Ben Godfrey and Wendy Redmile who were tonight's team.
