Block or report Anders Klingberg
Wednesday 10th February 2021
Anders Klingberg earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Anders completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Anders was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Well done to our lovely team of GoodGymers who managed to pack:
in super speedy time to help Reach out to the Community and St Matthews Hall with their essential Covid response work.
It was (possibly) the final Trafford mission for Clare and Anders as they prepare to relocate to pastures new. We’ll miss you and appreciate all the help you have offered.
Thanks and well done!

Our lovely team of Trafford Goodgymers ran to help out at the Longford Centre tonight....and we had a blast!
We met as usual at St Matthew's Community Hall at 6.30pm and chatted about our news which included yet another Coach pairing which takes us to FIVE in Trafford - yippeeee! Once we'd warmed up we trotted off to the Longford Centre with Dave leading the way and Vicky and Gemma safely backmarking us.
Jeannie the fab Task owner was there waiting for us ready to introduce the centre which provides support and accommodation for local homeless people to help them move forward to secure permanent accommodation.
We managed to achieve the following while we were there:
#eachforequal
It was great to have Anders and Meera back with us again - come and see us again soon!
Once we'd completed all our tasks we legged it back to base, stretched off and chatted about food (as usual!)
All in all a lovely night and another good lot of work achieved for the really excellent Longford Centre. See you all next time!

Wow, another wonderful winter run right! Despite it being pancake day, our run this evening was far from flat! 6 Goodgymers met at Produce Hall, we ran a mighty 5km to our task, mainly up hill in the wind.
We were met in Woodley by the Canal by the lovely Neil from the Canal and River trust, he met us with some life jackets, lots of energy, some big lights and some tools!! We had 30 minutes to cut back as much over grown foliage as possible, what fun! The weather held out and we had a great time. Tonight the task was to clear up the area in time for Sunday when a volunteer group will be adding to the clean up. We cleared the path way for cyclist, runners and anyone else using the pathway.
We will be back again in around 6 weeks time, this time to set the path again. Its a great community task, ensuring that the canal path is clear and safe everyone in the community to use.
I jinxed the run back, I said it would be like flying back since it was all down hill!!! I was WRONG! It was down hill, it just happened to start hail stoning, and get very windy, and there were a LOT of puddles that were large enough to swim through, it sounds like a awful run, but it was one of those runs, that if you were running on your own it would have been, but because we were all together it was pretty funny (kind of?!)
It was fab to have Debs back with us this week after a 4 week break, thanks for bringing your energy, and well done on the hill climb cycle and the river headstand! your a inspiration. Thank you to all of you that braved the wet weather tonight, you were great.
Have a great week running

What a wonderful night, it was our quietest run for a while, the weather hasn't been kind and lots of people were busy, but 4 little Goodgymers still made a big impact tonight.
Its been a while since we visited St Lesmo, a residential home in Edgeley, in the past we have cleared leaves, painted rails and washed windows, tonight we were on more a fun mission! we arranged a games night, and what a night!
It was a great turn out, lots of residents waiting for us, we set up tables and on each table we had a different game set up, we played Pick up sticks, Snap, Jenga, Dominoes, Snakes and Ladders, Tiddlywinks and did i mention SNAP? (my favourite card game ever, I thought I was the master, turns out Anders is.....)
It really was a wonderful night, the atmosphere was wonderful, everyone enjoyed themselves, some of us, as in me, were sore losers! BUT we will 100% be back to play more games.
Thank you guys for running in the horrific weather, also thank you Racheal for the chocoltaes and a MASSIVE WELL DONE for you 50 good deeds, the next social will be in your honour!
Also well done to both Hanna and Simone for running the hillest parkrun on sat over in the lakes, sound like you had a wonderful adventure.
A truly magical evening, making great connections and making a room full of people happy,
Have a great week running folks,

So tonight we were greeted by the wonderful Jim and his lovely dog Roxy, it was as ever great of them to pop and say hi! and lovely to hear his running adventures, at the minute he is training a blind lady so that she can run the Manchester half marathon! awesome work Jim, cant wait to hear more about it.
We met at Produce Hall, this weeks task was to deliver 350 community newspapers, called Heatons post, this a community newspaper that is jam packed with wonderful things happening in the area, as well as great community projects and things going on. Having a quick flick through, this issue has Parkrun, and Heatons conservation collective, as well as food banks, and local events, a really good informative read, and in the next issue we will be featuring us!! yay, fame at last for Goodgym Stockport......woooo.
The task location was over in Heaton Mersey, we had a nice relaxing run over then took it nice and easy delivering the newspapers, in total we ran 6km.
The evening was a nice chilled one, until there were only 15 papers per person left, then it got competitive.......
Each runner had 15 papers, and they had to post them as fast they could, the winner was Rob, posting all papers in 4mins 39 second, well done dude, one day I will get you fish and chips for a prize?!
Other news, we need to arrange a social soon!
Have a wonderful week folks, thanks and well done for this evening,
