Charlie has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Charlie is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

Eight brilliant runners joined me to run 8km and help out Abbey Community Centre!
Two new runners, two runners met us at the centre, two routes there and back and we were of course on the Abbey Road synonymous with the Beatles... it could only be Duo Ringo!
That's pun of the month won, on to the session itself!
The lovely Charlie and Katarzyna joined us for the first time so we explained GoodGym and the four ways you can do good as well as talking about the lovely community that has built up around our runners with races and socials amongst many things we do. No major news this week but the social is coming up on 9th May (in Peckham) and the Olympics is getting ever closer on 3rd August. After the intro was done I promptly forgot to warm us up but we set off at a gentle pace to the centre.
Once we got going we were up to a good pace and everyone did really well sticking together - great work everyone! Once at Abbey we met Georgie and Claire and then met Simone from the centre for a quick water break and to pick up our leaflets.
Over the last few months we've been working our way around the funded area for Abbey's cafe and with tonight's session we thing we've got the whole area done. We split into two groups and worked across the few roads we'd not yet covered. After twenty minutes we were done and we met back at the centre! We delivered loads of flyers - fantastic job.
After a group photo we said good bye to Georgie, Claire jumped on her bike and we raced her back to the Queensbury! We weren't to be beaten and a strong run got us back at the same time. After a stretch a few of us headed for a well earned drink.
Great session everyone.
Cheers,
Pritesh
