Bristol Report written by Alice Dalrymple
We had a lovely morning in BS15 delivering leaflets to spread the word about the Hillfields community garden. Once we had all found the park (which has many entrances) we took a quick photo before heading out on our mission.
We delivered lots of leaflets and got to admire lots of nice front doors. Along the way we met many cats, gnomes and even a sloth.
Look out for another community mission soon to finish off the flyering. The remaining leaflets may well smell of sausage rolls after my trip to Parsons bakery on the run home!

Katherine Sugg done 50 good deeds and got their black t-shirt
The next time you see Katherine, they might be wearing black instead of red. They've completed 50 good deeds with GoodGym and have earnt their black t-shirt. Give them a nod when you next see them.

Eight GoodGym runner braced themselves to endure torrential rainfalls and heavy winds on their mission to clear the Avon Gorge from litter. To our surprise, the rain held off while we were out searching the riverbanks for discarded goods. This time, Mark from SAS brought his wheelbarrow along which was a total game changer when it came to carrying the heavy rubbish bags the 1km stretch back into town. Instead of everyone having to struggle with tired arms and aching shoulders, only Russ who volunteered to push the heavy load long the path had to suffer this time. Sadly, nobody wanted to rehome the nice plactic chair I found but maybe someone else will pick it up and use to for some sunbathing on the riverbanks.
Thanks everyone of helping out and kudos to Jason who offered to sort out the pick up of our rubbish collection.

We keep coming back, but it doesn't get any easier at the Ardagh!! At least by now we know where all kit is kept! 5 the runners once again took up the tennis court challenge at the Ardagh, this time we took on court no.2. Today was all about clearing the fence at the back so we got to work with secateurs, shears, loppers (some brand new out of the pack!) spades and brushes. Several wheelbarrows later I think you can see that we really made a difference, a passing robin certainly appreciated our efforts, or maybe it was just the insects we disturbed!

It looked good when we finished up today and we shared muffins with Fergus for being well behaved

Help tidy up the tennis courts to make them nicer for people playing on them.
