My shift at the hospital was cancelled so I decided to use that time wisely and complete a mission! I did Mr A’s weekly shop and spur of the moment helped him with some recycling he had been meaning to do. We then had a little chat about life and he showed me some amazing drawings he had done of his friends, alongside his pressed leaf collection! He sent me home with my own pressed leaf. A lovely morning with a lovely man!

I walked to this mission as Mrs J lives super close to me and my shins are still playing up. I text Mrs J’s daughter prior to the mission to get her list and headed straight to Asda. With goods in tow I headed to Mrs J’s house to hand them over. Mrs J was so grateful and I received a lovely message of thanks from her daughter too. Mrs J was insistent I left with a chocolate bar despite my protests so I walked home with a real spring in my step. Happy Saturday everyone!

I decided to cycle to this mission today due to struggling with shin splints at the moment! Mr O had created a list for me but I had to swing by and collect the cash before I started. A quick cycle down the road to Iceland to pick up all the essentials (which includes custard creams and digestives), I couldn’t believe how cheap it was! Popped back to a very grateful Mr O - I just wish the trifle had fared better! Oops!

I think my hands are going to take a couple of hours to thaw! Note to self: always bring gloves just in case!

I signed up to the mission very last minute but with a free afternoon (and what gorgeous weather for it) I decided to help someone out. Mr R was very grateful for his weekly shop! I couldn’t get everything on the list but did my best with the £20 limit!
