.... to my litter-picker!
It was a very high tide at Tipner this morning, but that's a bonus on a beach clean - less beach! It meant Lisa, Andy and I could make a visible difference and remove the obvious pieces of coloured plastic and the nylon fishing line.
Lisa dragged the dumped gaming chair to the nearest bin, so that hopefully it'll get collected.
45 minutes later, two sacks of litter collected, and then on with our Sunday plans.
Tuesday 5th August
Lisa W been Mission Verified.
Congratulations to Lisa who is now Mission Verified. They're now ready to start running GoodGym missions to help older people and running alone to community mission. Give Lisa a cheer to kickstart their mission running career.
Tuesday 5th August
Lisa W run their first missions with GoodGym.
Lisa has just done something they've never done before. Lisa has just run a mission; they've changed their running route and run to help someone who really needed their help.

Two good gymmers attacked the weeds, leaves and brambles at Mrs V's today. Andy got straight into the weeds with the shears and then set about untangling the fence from the ivy, while I cleared the patio and seating of leaves, bindweed and stinging nettles. This has hopefully made a dent in the work but much more to do ideally. In the meantime Mrs V can have an easier path to the patio and can make better use of the lovely sun trap at the end of her garden while she recovers.
Tue 5th Aug at 12:00pm
This will allow Mrs V a place at home to relax whilst recovering

Four GoodGymmers had a lovely time delivering 34 pizzas 🍕 to QA hospital on behalf of the charity Sophie’s Legacy. Thank you to nurse Grace 👩⚕️ for escorting us.
We missed Katie and her van 🚐 tonight! The pizzas and trolley didn’t all fit in the boot, so Jane had to hold on to some on the back seat, thanks to Lisa for the photo and run report pun! 🤣
Pizzas delivered and children and parents were very happy to receive them.
