Two Aussie girls spend an enjoyable 90 minutes between rain showers tidying up Ms C's garden. The garden was looking a little wild over the winter and needed some weeding done and the grass cut.
We worked on the front garden weeding the garden bed and pavers. Then we moved to the back of the house to continue weeding the garden beds and pavers. Once that was the done we pondered how to mow the grass was almost a foot high. We found a push reel mower in the shed but the grass was too long and we couldn't get it moving. We improvised with a set of garden shears, we essentially gave the grass a hair cut! It wasn't the most uniform length but it was certainly better than when we started.
Ms C and her husband were really pleased with the final result and may now even be able to plant some herbs for the summer.

Camden Report written by John Shirley
Mrs N wasn't sure if GoodGym were going to turn up when she saw the big snowflakes falling at midday, not to mention the subsequent driving rain. But the weather is friendly to Good Deeds, and by the time Lucy and John arrived at 14:00, there a mere drizzle, and after we'd helped Mrs N to make her bed (dislodging the poor cat who'd been enjoying a nice lie down), there was barely any rain at all. Mrs N likes a wild meadow-style garden, but numerous weeds had forced their way through cracks in the pavement, as well as spoiling the flower bed, and some nasty brambles had emerged through the grass. The GoodGymers got to work, and had soon amassed two large piles of garden waste. A final sweep-up and the garden looked in great shape. After we'd left, the rain returned. GoodGym are children of nature, which only the weather knows.
