Lucy Swain been to three different GoodGym areas.

A Tourist likes nothing better than exploring new areas and meeting new people, and that's what Lucy has been doing. Lucy has been to three different GoodGym areas now - nice!

Curious? Lucy has just run their first session in another area. For that explorative spirit Lucy is awarded the scout badge. A Scout is trustworthy

Weed Done It!

Bristol Report written by VaguelyNorthernDarren

All 8 of us managed to get to St Paul's Learning Centre (eventually) - injuries allowing (pre not during the Group Run/Walk - no injury book entries needed!).

We welcomed Dushyant to their first ever GoodGum and Lucy to their first Bristol GoodGym, we're already used to seeing Russ now he's been back in Bristol for over a week.

The task was improving the look of the outside of the building, mainly weeding, and with a variety of tools, we soon had the front mostly weed-free, but not enough for the perfectionists Freya and Jason who may come back in their own time to finish! It was great to receive feedback from people using the Learning Centre and spread the positivity of GoodGym.

Vaguely Northern Darren had a note from his mum so wasn't able to bend down much, despite people offering bigger and bigger tools so I didn't have to bend down! A note is a note however so he worked hard on 'good vibes' and recording the event for all time with skilled photo-taking.

See you all again next time

Lucy Swain earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.

Lucy completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Lucy was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Rubbish pics, rubbish pickings!

Brighton Report written by Tara Shanahan

Congratulations to regular runner Rosie Robbins on reaching the remarkable achievement of 50 good deeds! She started her Goodgym adventure back in the day up north in that there London, but London's loss is Brighton's gain and for the past two years or so she's been good deeding down south. And let's not forget what a great social secretary she was back in the good old days when we were allowed to have social lives!

At the other end of the Goodgym range of experience we were very happy to welcome Lucy for her first Brighton good gym (another refugee from the big city, having previously completed a couple of good deeds in Lambeth!) and Nathan discovering the joys of Goodgym for the very first time.

Our task tonight was to help the residents of the Craven Vale Estate tidy up. We connected with Garry from the council's Tidy up Team to supply us with bags and tools, so armed with proper litter pickers and bag holding hoops half the group had a good old litter pick. The rest of us using , scrapers, spades, brooms and forks weeded the bed in front of the block and tidied up the weedy kerbs and steps to make it easier for residents to get in and out. David from the litter picking group reported seeing a frog or toad cross the road and thought we might get a pun out of it but my punning brain is not working tonight! And Sherman found some kids shoes and despite normally being our best photographer only managed to get one good pic! Sadly my new phone hasn't improved my night time photography skills so the photos don't really demonstrate what a difference we made! Well done all!
