An amazing 19 young people came out to run on a frosty Sunday morning. And our GoodGym team were there to supplement the regular volunteers, managing the finish line funnel, keeping time and handing out finish tokens.

Ealing foodbank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in the London Borough of Ealing. The first centre was opened in 2013 and since then the Foodbank has become part of The Trussell Trust foodbank network. To March 2022 the foodbank served 31,900 clients, 41.7% of which were 16 years old or under.

In November the foodbank launched a campaign for local communities to donate Christmas gifts for families in need and GoodGym members from Ealing, Hounslow and Hammersmith & Fulham answered the call. Running walking or cycling to the various collection drop off points by 7th Dec. Toiletries games and sweet treats will be distributed this Christmas to families.
