Ghost stories and clairvoyants were the theme of the evening!! Women in bedrooms, whispered names & trains on tarot cards were all part of the haunting tales....
10 GoodGymers ran up to the OWLS allotments where we weeded a large area and cleared the paths so that it's ready for OWLS service users. We then ran back to Heart for a pint and cake; what more could we want on a Wednesday evening? Running, weeding, ghosts, cider and cake....perfect!!

Tonight 6 GoodGymers met at Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre to help them with their nursery space. We did a deep clean of toys, tables, chairs & the climbing frame. We're getting quite good at this now so we got through it quite quickly. Naomi found a little, green present on one of the toys from the children, hence the name of this report!! We then went on a 3K run around Headingley but poor Ben had to do a bit longer as he realised that he'd left his keys at Heart! Welcome to newcomers Helen & Sophie who joined us tonight, it was great to meet you both :)

Tonight 6 GoodGymers ran from Heart to Bedford Fields Community Garden to do two jobs. Firstly we cleared the area behind the middle hedge, ready for their hedge workshop on Friday. We then raked the path and mulched by moonlight! To finish off we mulched the front path that is GoodGym Leeds' area; next time we're going to plan what we want to do in this area as a long term project which should keep us busy this spring/summer. I couldn't resist taking a picture of Naomi's amazing glow in the dark jacket :)

Today 10 GoodGymers headed to Bedford Fields to start cutting back the Ivy in the trees. The Ivy looks pretty but is actually not good for the trees so the idea is to cut the roots and then we can pull it back once it's died off in a couple of weeks. There was lots to do but many hands made light work and we made a real difference to the area. It was great to see so many newcomers today as well as some people who've been before! Welcome to Chloe, Emma, Freddie, Gab & Jane & great work everyone else!
