Rosie has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Rosie is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

Bournemouth Report written by Bournemouth runner
We needed 13 good deeds to hit our target for the January Challenge...and with a freezing cold day it looked touch and go....but 14 lovely people came to run this evening and help us do a flyer drop for the Bournemouth Emerging Arts Fringe happening in May.
It was lovely to have Katy back, and nice to know we didn't scare her off....Give her a big cheer here and she was nice enough to bring Rosie and Blake who merged brilliantly into the group. Great to have you guys along! See you next week!
With the cold conditions we got through a warm up to get our blood pumping a little before setting off for our favourite hill and up onto the overcliff...I'm sure it's getting easier now.....
We passed Hope Housing and split up into two teams.....the 'Better Team'....and the 'Efficient Team'...with each team having different roads to navigate we set off.......the better team lead by Caprice did manage to beat us on the first challenge....then we set off again and managed to steal Abi off the other team.....obviously their secret weapon...'Efficient team' were in with a chance now!
Racing through the streets, making sure we hadn't lost anyone and we all still had enough flyers we regrouped at different junctions and finally met up at the top of the gardens....the 'Efficient Team' had managed to post all their flyers....the 'Better Team'.....proved to be less efficient.....plus I think our team photos was cooler! Votes in please! And Chris had the strongest head torch in all of Dorset....perfect for a spotlight and to show off some dance moves!
It was nice to finally have time to do a little fitness session on our run back, usually we are rushing to get back. The gang had the option of intervals and most took on the challenge to push themselves a little and go outside their comfort zone....it's the only way to grow as a runner!
Hope you're not all too sore tomorrow. Please wish Grace and Caprice luck this Saturday as they join the GoodGym race team at the Maverick races. Grace doing the 8miler and Caprice the half marathon! The GoodGym race team is a great way to get involved in races and meet lots of like minded people! There's also a run this Sunday at Studland that is free! Read about it here
See you all next week!
