12 GoodGymers dominated 8.8k of running plus another 30 minutes of delivering action to post 300 leaflets promoting Open Age’s new subsidised fitness class in Paddington Green.
A brilliant running performance from the whole squad!! One if the longest GG runs I have done and great that everyone held strong in a tight pack and at a great pace to!!
Awesome that we delivered all the leaflets to! Great energy as we found suitable places right near where the class will happen so even more likely to drive more over 50’s who would like to get a bit more active into a subsidised class run by our friends at Open Age!
4.5k all the way out the edge of the borough was no mean feat then we got to work and dominated!! Having just enough time to drop off the last few leaflets as we headed back towards Edgware Road.
Timing the lights and road crossing nearly perfectly and getting back with a big finish onto Oxford Street finished off a monster step count for the evening!!
Hope to see you next week for our visit to Help the Homeless via the Ebury Lodge project.

14 amazing Westminster GoodGymers ran 6k around Central London to give away 300 bundles of Halloween joy to Westminster’s homeless community.
Amazing to have a great group of GG first timers along for the run on such an impactful session in Westminster!
Spreading the Halloween cheer we zipped around town handing out all The amazing and generous treats that we brought along! Sweets, chocolate, fruit, energy bars, soap, toothbrushes and some lovely warm socks, gloves and jumpers!
Thank you all so much for being such fun, thoughtful and vital donations along on the sessions!
Taking a route around some of the areas where there is a little less support for the homeless we found a so many people really grateful for the small token of help and fun that we brought along.
Running through Mayfair, Green Park, Victoria, St James’s and Oxford Street we handed out all we could and returned after 80 minutes of continuous action and movement with a hugely impactful GG evening complete!!
See you next week to hopefully be putting up Christmas decorations for Open Age Charity!
Enjoy

18 GoodGymers ran a strong 7k to Little Venice to help the Canal & River trust keep the waterways clear if contaminants by picking up 25 buckets of rubbish.
Amazing to have 5 GoodGym first timers along for the run!! Hope you all enjoyed your 90 Minutes of GoodGyming action and will be back for more next week for our Visit to St Andrews youth club!
Quick reminder for our special Treat no Trick Halloween group run on the 30th where we will bring along treats for Westminster’s homeless community and hand them out as we run around town. Sign up here.
On our longest run we do we managed to nail a top early rhythm clipping along the bright streets of Central London working our way North West to Little Venice and the Canal & River trust head office.
Grabbing our grabbers and locating a bucket each we headed West right the way out to the borough boarder to pick up as much stuff that shouldn’t be there as possible!
Filling our buckets with rubbish from the canal, pathway, park and from under a bridge or two and around benches we made a huge impact for the Waterways and everything the lives in and around it! Tipping the rubbish out in the bins before sanitising our hands and bursting back down the road heading back to base with a load of steps and distance in our legs!!
A top workout had by all before a relaxed gentle stretch out and we were away!
Thanks for such a fun session, see you all Again very soon!
