Three wide-awake GG Yorkies made it down to York's Foss Fairy Trail for 8am to do some early morning bulb planting.

We started by raking leaves to mark out a winding trail from the Foss-side footpath to the doorstep of one of the fairy houses.

Next, with the help of Fairy trail creator, Tracy and her friend Peter we planted 250 bulbs to line the path. If we've done it right, a magical fairy trail will emerge in spring!

We finished the job in about 45 minutes which technically meant we had enough time to rush to parkrun... but then we got sidetracked organising brunch for later in the morning, so none of us actually made it!
