Two Goodgymmers joined the Stoke Newington Common volunteers to help bed in some young trees. While new saplings were planted around the common, Dan and Anne helped load up wheel barrows of mulch and spread it around the base of the young trees planted last year. Once that task was complete, this year's trees were ready for their mulch too. In what felt like no time at all, Stoke Newington Common and most importantly the base of a good ten young trees, were covered in little 'mulch doughnuts' keeping the weeds out and the moisture in.
