Yesterday morning Rachel and Arthur arrived early to get everything set up for Roots4Life's Have a Grow day. This involved local people joining the roots for Life team to help out with some weeding at the allotment, would chipping down the path, painting signs for the beds, picking strawberries and making seed bombs (although that bit was just for us!)

When Khai arrived we were getting started with shovelling woodchip into the wheelbarrows and together we filled 6 lots to cover the path by the allotment - excellent team work and we stopped for a nice cuppa to give our backs a break.

It was a lovely morning and thankfully the rain held off right til the end!

Our monthly sessions are moving to the 3rd Saturday from now on. We're back at Hervey Road on Wednesday and saturday this week.

Until next time!

Rachel
