The Surrey Docks Farm summer series continued with our third Sunday in a row helping out Rachel and her team. There's one left to go, next Sunday, it's currently full.... But watch out for last minute spots from drop-outs.

7 GoodGymers met up outside the farm gates in the blazing heat; slowly roasting away in the surprisely hot summer's day. Most walked over, one ventured on bike and another person crazily ran over.

Rachel had set out three tasks: wood organisation, bagging up manure and the continuation of weeding in the "Plot to shop" area.

Our first time GoodGymers, Angela and Daniel took on the wood organisation with Richard, who is racking up the Good Deeds this month with his 12th in the first 9 days. They had the task of taking all of the abandoned wood (in all shapes and sizes) out of the pile that they were gathering in and organise them into different sizes, so that it would be more managable in the future.

Abigail jumped straight at the opportunity to get stuck into the manure task and slowly, but surely Jenny joined in to help. Bagging 4 bags of manure was the minimum requirement of what they needed to do and anything else would be seen as bonuses.... Of course they bagged double that amount! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

Karen started continuing with the weeding in the "Plot to shop" area whilst Sam dipped in and out to help as he made sure everyone was getting along and making sure he got a couple of photos in for this report ๐Ÿ˜œ

An hour and a half zoomed by and Rachel called us over to treat us with some goat cuddling.... Yet, first we had to sweep and shovel their ๐Ÿ’ฉ however, the reward was worth it ๐Ÿ

All in all, we were treated to a great session (as per usual) when we visit the farm! All smiley faces all around ๐Ÿ˜Š
