Gotta love a sunny evening! Oh! what fun we had tonight, they're a crazy bunch in Bath.

A treat lined up for the 15 strong team at Goodgym Bath this evening and a short steep 3k climb up to Alexandra park allotments to move a huge pile of leaves gathered during winter to be used for mulch.

Welcome to Anthony joining no us for his first Goodgym run and some red laces for Steve for bringing him along ... love new faces and old of course

Whoop!! Let's get this done

Steph is on the mend but Pascale was at the helm tonight as run leader (a mighty fine job she does too) with Steve back marking and ensuring no one gets left behind.

WE ARE A FRIENDLY BUNCH IN BATH

A warm up with some squats incorporated to get those quads ready for the mighty climb up the

118 steps known as Jacobs ladder

and all that after the short steep climb to get there but believe me the view is well worth the pain, although the big question did anyone run up? Answer: Oh Yes!!

Steph was waiting at the top to capture the moment they reached the summit but she did allow them to catch their breath and take in the breathtaking view of our beautiful city.

Virginia was waiting at the far corner of the allotments and the huge pile of leaves that have been gathered during the winter to use as mulch, our task to move them to the compost area. Sounds easy but it was a challenge with everyone working hard and some double working the job at hand.... Ha!! No names mentioned 😄.

Our resident vet Nicola vanished with a Virginia to check on a chickens prolapsed repair and check a chickens dropped crop (apparently it needs a bra so it can feed normally) so with a vet and paramedic in the group must be a safe risk assessment for all concerned.

A good 40 minutes on the task and Just time for an Easter Egg hunt laid by Lydia and a chance to bag a trainers chocolate treat, Joe kindly gave Jaxx an egg as she didn't find one. Then a downhill run back to the leisure centre where Pascale plied the group with even more Easter chocolates.

Thanks to everyone for making Goodgym Bath such a great thing to be part of on a Tuesday evening. We will be partaking in a post run drink during the summer months so bring some dollar.

Happy Easter Everyone
