Let me begin...

9 runners made their way through a very soggy Leeds evening to the LS14 Trust in Seacroft to pack summer holiday activity packs for local school children. We welcomed new member Joyce, who deserves a huge cheer for coming out in the rain.

After splitting up into smaller groups spread out over 3 floors, each team began packing different things into each of the bags.

The downstairs team started by packing boxes of finished bags into a van, and then added the finishing touches to more bags before boxing them up. We'd quickly built ourselves an impressive fort, before realising that we needed to get to things behind the tower of full boxes...

We packed a few hundred packs into boxes and had almost as much fun as the kids will have using them! Well done for another great task everyone.

Our mission is to build upon the strengths of our community by working to develop activities and opportunities, promoting the area as a vibrant and exciting place to live, work and bring up a family.

Our vision is to see LS14 become a welcoming, vibrant, happy place where people feel in control and are proud of their achievements - a place where every resident is safe and respected. We want this to be a well connected community which recognizes its power to bring about and sustain positive social change.
