5 Goodgymmers turned out to help at the community allotment this evening. We had a guest appearance from Anita between her trips to India, it was so great to see her again. Ann and Anita took on the weeding and watering between them. Meanwhile Sol, Kelley and Sheila tackled the strawberry bed. We carefully removed the plants, and then topped the bed up with topsoil stored on bags. Replanting the strawberry plants in their nice new bed brought back childhood memories for Sol; who knew we had an expert in our midst? We removed any large stones from the soil, and gave the bed a good water. A good evening's work, and Kelley was also able to harvest some dandelion leaves for her tortoise!
