With the summer hols in full swing and dark skies up above we were slightly lighter on numbers tonight compared to usual.
Before leaving tonight we sung happy birthday to Zof before heading uphill to our task for the evening which was visiting a section of the Trans Pennine Trial (TPT), part of Sustrans National Cycle Network (NCN) to help with it's ongoing maintenance and upkeep to allow more people to enjoy the traffic free walking and cycling path.
On arrival we met with COURAGOUS CRAIG who got us tooled up and gave us a brief on the TPT, what's it all about and the tasks that needed doing.

After a good session of around 30mins the difference was clear and many a rubbish bag was filled!
On route back we took it some street surroundings to do a bit of fitness which included;
Once back to base we stretched and congratulated all the fantastic community mission and mission runners with a special mention to AMAZING ANDREW who reached his 12month mission streak!
Inside there was flamingo cake to celebrate Zof's birthday!
Until next time,
Happy Running :)
