Six keen GoodGymers arrived outside the Farm well before 14:00 on a Sunday. They were super keen that even Becs (Farm Task Owner) didn't know they were suppose to come today. However, after a brief moment of "I wasn't expecting GoodGym", Becs invited us in as the Farm always has plenty of tasks to do.

After parking our bikes, washing our hands and collecting the tools, we split the group into two/three. Emily and Aidan were on clean-up duties - sweeping the goat yard and placing the straw and 💩 on the muck heap afterwards. Whilst Phil initially watered the plants in the polytunnel before joining Laura, Monika and Sam in the donkey's yard to dig out nettles and weeds along the edges/borders on the donkey yard. After they were done with the goats, Emily and Aidan did help with weeding near the front entrance of the Farm. 💪

There is always time at the end of the mission to hang out with the animals! This week, like last time, we chilled with the sheep and their lambs. They were more interested in the grass and I can't blame them.

More Surrey Docks Farm tasks will be coming through in July, so look out for them 😊
