This evening's shop for Ms S proved to be something of a mixed bag in more ways than one as her dictated over the phone list consisted of a specific Tesco ready meal, own brand antibacterial gel, Oral B 24 hr mouthwash, 3.5 strength reading glasses, replacement wipes for a Flash mop and a particular brand of socks.

Knowing that the glasses were high on the priority list, I diverted to my nearest Poundland (success!) before heading south of the river to Ms S's to try and find the rest of the items - unfortunately the ready meal and socks were nowhere to be seen in Tesco (just about every other type of sock was available...), but I managed to track down everything else, and it was good to be able to hand deliver the bag to Ms S, who, as always, was extremely grateful.
