Workout for Nature with WWF
Welcome to WWF x GoodGym’s Workout for Nature. From 7th April WWF and GoodGym are collaborating on hundreds of sessions to celebrate Earth Day. Each session will involve a Workout for Nature - a physical volunteering activity which will benefit local green spaces, and give your own wellbeing a boost. Simply sign up below and come along. No experience required!
There is a lot to help out with at St John's Court, they have asked me to schedule this visit in to coincide with the arrival of warmer weather. Chances are we will be outside in the garden area helping them out with weeding or general tidying, making the area a great place for the residents to relax and enjoy the summer.
This is a great cause to help with and the residents are always grateful for our help as they can't do it themselves.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us by email at bath@goodgym.org.
The total distance of this group run is 1km.
Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
Meet in the foyer of the leisure centre. Look out for GoodGym members with red t-shirts. There's space to change and leave bags and toilets. We're not planning to do anything purposefully dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk. Participants accept full responsibility for items stored at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre, and Bath Sports and Leisure Centre and GoodGym will not be held liable for any losses or damages.

There might be something called 'rain' throughout the evening. If I can recall that means we are supposed to wear waterproofs, so you might want to do that. It'll be a cool evening so warm clothes might also be a good idea. We may have to work outside in the gardens, the venue will confirm on the night.

Thanks Meyrick, I'm planning on joining the run if rain not too rainy!
