This week's Group Run is to Canbury Community Gardens is to assist Marilyn in Canbury Community Garden and help her with tasks such as weeding, watering and turning over the compost. We are fortunate that she lets us take home any ripe produce and the chickens always like to keep us company too. As well as this, she always finds something new to keep us on our toes too so watch this space!
This is a great beginner task where we can show how gardening keeps you fit and the advantage of people power to get heavy tasks done as a group. The task could include weeding so shoes and clothes might get muddy. Gloves and head torches will be needed.
Location
The community garden is next to Canbury Secret Café in Canbury Gardens, quite near the bandstand which is a visible landmark. Mobile on the evening in case of problems 07905 005 558.
