For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
Friends of Shepherds Hill Gardens have asked for more help from our strapping Goodgymmers with some of the physical maintenance jobs at the gardens.
This time, we'll be helping clear ivy and look after shrubs. Expect digging, clearing and cutting.
The Gardens are managed by a dedicated Friends group led by Pat. Many of the volunteers are now in their 70s and 80s and some of the tasks are quite challenging for them. Let’s bring the energy and help this incredible green space continue to thrive!
This time, make your own way to the site - walk, run or cycle (it's near Highgate tube). They usually meet for up to 2hrs, but stay for as long as you're able. (And they break around 15:15 for refreshments.)
Please sign up soon, so they know to have enough tools ready.
