For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
Welcome to WWF x GoodGym’s Workout for Nature
Throughout April WWF and GoodGym are collaborating on hundreds of sessions to celebrate Earth Day. Each session will involve a Workout for Nature - a physical volunteering activity which will benefit local green spaces, and give your own wellbeing a boost. Simply sign up below and come along. No experience required!
We'll be mulching young trees that were planted 2 years ago. This helps keeps the weeds down and protects the trees from drought.
The site is along the riverside path leading from Brook Road (near the Wimborne Recycling Centre).
Buckets and other necessary tools will be provided but please bring along a sturdy pair of gloves.
Trees for Wimborne will be there 10am to lunch but please fill free to come along for as little or as much time as you can offer.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
This session is organised by your Taskforce, a group of experienced GoodGym members in your area. They are not responsible for your safety. You should feel confident to participate in the session as it is described and you do so at your own risk.
