This evening we will be back with the Oxford Preservation Trust, this time in Kennington!
The Oxford Preservation Trust have asked for our help clearing ragwort from one of their fields in Kennington. Ragwort spreads quickly and can be harmful to some wildlife, so let’s do some clearing!
Tools will be provided but please bring gardening gloves
We will meet at the junction of Playfield Road and The Avenue and walk to the task together. Location here.
There are loads of lovely footpaths over towards Bagley Wood so we will have a run after the task.
OPT cares for acres of land in Oxford’s rural setting and a world famous view, opening it up for everyone to enjoy. They conserve buildings from cottages to castles, and even a railway Swingbridge.

This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Anwen Greenaway by email at anwen@goodgym.org.
Options are available to run between 2km and 6km in total.
Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
Comments are a good place to ask any questions you may have about the session.
