Weโ€™ve been asked by Ealing Transitionโ€™s Beeshare โ€” a local community bee project โ€” to help maintain their orchard site at Walmer Gardens, where they keep their hives. ๐Ÿ

โœ”๏ธ The Task:

Our job will be to clear ivy and brambles to allow safe access to the trees and keep the area tidy for both people and pollinators. Expect a satisfying bit of cutting, pulling, and tidying.

๐Ÿ“ Where?

Walmer Gardens, London W13 9TS

โš ๏ธ Risks:

Watch out for bramble thorns and the resident bees โ€” theyโ€™re friendly but protective of their home. Long sleeves and gloves recommended!

๐Ÿงค What to bring?

Bring your own thick gardening gloves if you have them; tools will be provided.
