Who this task will support
Ealing Foodbank
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Head out for a walk, run, or cycle this month and help out with our August donation drop to Ealing Foodbank. They still have high demand for food parcels, so anything you can drop off will be much appreciated!

On this month's shopping list is:

*Vegetarian meals - anything long life

*Breakfast cereal

*UHT Milk - whole or semi-skimmed, not skimmed

*Long grain rice - 500 gram or 1 kilo packets

*Tinned tomatoes and pasta sauce

*Savoury biscuits and crackers

*Chickpeas and kidney beans

*Drinking chocolate

*Peanut butter

*Cooking oil

*Size 5 & 6 nappies

*Hair shampoo

How to donate:

  • You can drop donations directly to the Foodbank (St Mellitus Church Hall, 1 Church Road W7 3BA) on Wednesdays between 10-4pm

  • You can also drop off donations any other time at one of their other collection locations here: https://ealing.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/

  • If you can't get out this month, you can donate to the foodbank via their website too, or by using their partnership with charity Bankuet, where you donate to Bankuet and they buy the food on behalf of the foodbank and drop it off to them https://www.bankuet.co.uk/givenow

Don't forget to send photos to the GoodGym Ealing What's App group for the report!
