6 GoodGymers dominated a 60 minute Sunny Speed fest at the final Fitness 4 All - Barnet session of this month long block.
After the driving rain of last week we were rewarded by a sub drenched running feast this.
Taking advantage of the hard ground we worked hard on our lower body conditioning for higher impact running and feed our legs a serious dose of speed!
Getting our muscles activated and mobilised we headed into a mini conditioning phase hitting knee driving walking lunges and ultra controlled calf raises.
Then came the meat of the session with a series of faster running short reps keying in on a couple of technical running form points. Flipping from ultra short to multi paced longer reps we recalled pushed the pace along with the knee lift!
We then had a go and some 30 metre fast reps in a perfect forward lean position! With our legs turning over at an amazing rate we finished off the running for the day with some improved longer reps. Great to see such improvement in a session!! Well done for being so brave with your running this evening!!
We finished the session off with a fierce 10 minute conditioning circuit!!
