What a brilliant evening at Goodgym Bexley. Who would of thought the workout and distance covered you get when delivering leaflets. 10 of us Bexley Goodgym'ers set off with leaflets in hand to help the wonderful community hospice promote their Open Garden Fevistal. With a short run to our start location we split into two teams to get our competitive juices flowing. Go, we were off, weaving in and out of driveways like a gold medal depended on it. With a big high five when all the leaflets had gone we headed into Danson Park. There is no better place for a fitness session then looking over the beautiful Danson lake. Staying in our teams the fitness challenge got on the way. Everyone is beginning to know I love sprints, core building and fun and tonight was no exception. Sprints, planks, lunges, squats, press ups and high knees were all on the menu and enjoyed by all. Then just as we thought it was time to head back to base the adult jump sacks were introduced. These are definitely an all over body workout, with the face muscles working the hardest through so much laughter. Guys, you were brilliant. Sadly it was time to start heading back. We ran back up around the park as it was the perfect place to be before heading out to Crooklog Sports Centre. Massive welcome to (Fidellis)[www.goodgym.org/runners/fidellis-swai, (Hong)[www.goodgym.org/runners/hong-Nguyen and (Jackie)[www.goodgym.org/runners/Jackie-Morgan who joined us this evening. I hope you both really enjoyed yourself. Don't forget to become a member to get our awesome red Goodgym tee shirt. They definitely help you run better 😉. The finish I also want to give a shout out to Tanya, Sarah, Susan, Eileen, Janine and Lucy for just being brilliant this week 🙌🏻
