Sal and I had our own personal Picnic as we waited and waited for the organisers to show. In there absence we enjoyed our own picnic with home made Scones.
I recommend taking 5 minutes out of your day to catch up with friends old and new. (Picnic Option, Scones essential)
Our vision is for a Pavilion focused on serving local residents i.e. members of the community within a 20‑minute walk of Moormead Park. We will encourage the shared use of the Pavilion by a broad range of people across the neighbourhood, including schools, churches and organisations focused on junior sport. We want to support existing park users as well as members of the community who have previously been unable to use the park due to a disability or lack of facilities (e.g. toilets).

The task was scheduled to start at 9:30am. Contact was made at 9:45am with the task owner - Vanessa at ETNA who was packing up chairs for the picnic at ETNA (perhaps this would have been a better meeting point and support we could have provided for this task) and would be driving over to Moormead Park after. She advised to provide her number to the volunteers waiting at the park. Unfortunate that it did not work out but the catch up, sunshine and scones looks great!
