Helping with maintenance at INS (neuro-support)
Creating a calm, welcoming space and taking some pressure off staff
Location
Tap TavernPrinces Street
Richmond
TW9 1ED
Date and time
18:45 - 20:30We have been asked to help a charity called INS (www.ins.org.uk), based in Twickenham. They support adults with neurological conditions and need some support to maintain their facilities. No experience necessary and this is perfect for regulars and first timers welcome too! There will be some painting involved so please don't wear your best kit!
We will meet at Tap Tavern in Richmond Town Centre for approx 4.5km run to the building. There will be options to do this as a through run or in walk/run intervals. Likewise, you are more than welcome to meet there, or meet us at the Tap but bring a cycle to ride there. There are even public transport links if you would like to only run one way. The Tap Tavern kindly allow us to leave our bags there in a locked room so if you need to put anything away, just turn up a little before 6.45pm and ask at the bar.
If you are meeting at the task, the location is 82 Hampton Rd https://maps.app.goo.gl/RY5FiRKq9SLBSRMK7

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us or see if there's a starter session coming up in your area.
