Brrrrrr
However tempting it was to go the pub instead, my trusty team set off on a bracing walk along the promenade against a very cold sea breeze. We were returning to Anchor gardens to continue our work on this seafront community garden.
My small but mighty team consisted of Belinda,Barbara,John,Daisy and Sue Massive thank you to you all for turning out on such a cold night to do good in Worthing.
When we arrived at the task, Daisy and I set off on a really lovely run around the pier whilst the rest of the team got stuck into the task of weeding and pruning. We didn't hang around tonight as the gardening team got very cold very quickly.
Despite the chilly feel there were warm and happy vibes amongst the team tonight.
Please make a note in your diaries Sunday April 24th when GoodGym will be involved with giving out medals at the Worthing half marathon.
See you all next week. Task and meeting point TBC
