Thursday 6:15/ 6:30pm is GoodGym Windsor Night! 👑🏃‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️

Tonights community mission was for the beautiful Alexander First School which was surprisingly dry despite the storms all afternoon.

We met task owner Adrienn at the school gates and made our way across the stunning school grounds for the task brief.

Didem, Amy and Mandy started with filing the sand pit using sand delivered to the car park area and transporting three wheel barrows full across the field before joining Sheila and Helen who were checking out the main task at the forest school.

We had a pile of wood chips to disperse into the forest and along the pathway and play areas to prepare for the winter mud.

It was really physical and so satisfying seeing the pike of wood chips going down and the path way being developed. We shared stories of our week and holidays while we worked.

Once that pile was all gone , wood you believe it, we had a second pile to tackle in the other forest school area . Now that involved up hill negotiations and we did well not to slip over with our loads. Helen did have a little topple of her barrow filling but ‘chip 💩 happens! 🤣’ and it was scooped back in.

The night was drawing in and we were working on barrowed time. So we had our team photo and returned the tools to the storage area.

We celebrated our valued friend-chip, said our goodbyes and perfectly demonstrated the Windsor curtsy and bow 👑

Thank you all for coming!
