Give em a cheer!

Great to have you all along, look forward to seeing Harper Adams GoodGym soon Simon! Vee, great to hear you talk about joining a LDN group and see you at the next run Verity! Sam & Bash were also with us in spirit but had to be in LDN for GG training and generally looking cool...

The Task

On arriving in the sweltering Sheffield Sunshine @GGSHEFF refreshed ourselves with some water kindly provided by GORGEOUS GARETH who had tools out at the ready and an excellent brief, helping us to split into teams;

TEAM DIG

TEAM LITTER PICK

TEAM WEED

All got straight to work in the heat and put a great effort in! Props have to go to Kim for falling over not once, but at least twice in her efforts to beat the embedded tree roots!

We even had an honorary member neighbor who got his hands dirty getting a big stump out in record time - he had the technique!

After a good 45mins of top work in the Regather Club Garden we downed tools for the FITNESS FIESTA. The card were delt and demonstrated and all got going with this weeks exercises:

*Inch Worms

*Wall Sits

*Squats, lot of different squats!

*Luges

*Planks

*Tuck Jumps

*Burpees

After a great effort and a quick drink we headed back to base for stretching and a drink or two and a chat about this weekends meet up and Good Gym takeover at Graves Park Run - get yourselves over and show your #RedThunder goodgym colours!

Next week we are over to Sharrow Community Forum.
