Report written by Tom Mutton
It was wetter than an otters pocket tonight, but we didn't let that dampen our spirits!
Third time was the charm for Ship Shape. A quick knock on and we were in to the welcome warmth of the inside and the smiling face of Tanya from Ship Shape who showed us the way to the beam room which was to be painted.
We got straight to it, unwrapping fresh rollers and trays and popping fresh tins of paint for a fresh coat of paint! With the taller of us getting as high as we could and the shorter of us getting the lower levels it was no time at all until the room was looking like it had been subject to 60min makeover!
We said our thanks and goodbyes to a very appreciative Tanya and headed back out into the wet to meet with Lucy and Michelle who had done the sterling job of doing some litter picking in the rain as we'd run out of rollers!
On the way back we took refuge in a well lit underpass and took created the 'Wall Sit Centerpede' where we all lined up and wall squated whilst one at a time each of us lunged to the end of the line until we'd all had a go. There were some very stylish lunges seen.
Once back at. base we again headed for cover to stretch off, hear news and head in for refreshments.
Thanks to all that made it out in the wet eve and until next time, happy running :)
