With three empty Celebrations Tubs delivered to Greene King Pubs and 4 empty Heroes Tubs it was time to celebrate the completion of another week of the Tub2Pub challenge. We’ve been all over the place with our tubs this week.

Gill started the ball rolling (well the tub rolling actually) on Monday with a visit to the Hansom Cab in Stopsley with an empty Celebrations Tub which she had rescued from her dad’s bin.

Next up was Laura on Friday, with another Celebrations tub delivered to The Bell in Harpenden.

On Saturday Ella returned to the Ewe and Lamb in Dunstable (this is their third delivery of tubs from GoodGym – I hope they don’t think that we are eating all the chocolates!) with an empty Heroes tub she liberated from her work.

Today was the last day for the task – Martin was on a long weekend in East Anglia, but still managed to take an empty heroes tub with him to The Kings Head in Hoveton where he was combining this GoodGym task with Sunday lunch.

Duncan was also combining activities, so walked to Harpenden with his tub, plogging along the way, then deposited his tub in the Inn on The Green, while trying out another of his plethora of facial expressions. This one I think was called “mildy smug and satisfied” as he was able to tick off two tasks with one activity (and maybe managed to get in a pint or two as a reward). He also provided us with a good title for this report. Thanks Dunc!

Dani returned to the Hansom Cab with her empty Heroes Tub channelling Duncan’s “serious face”. I hope the bar staff appreciated it.

And the final destination on the Tubs on Tour was made by Pam who made a flying visit to The Biscot Mill with her empty Celebrations Tub.

Well done everyone. That’s a lot of plastic kept from landfill and further donation on their way to Macmillan.
