Led by Rich, 6 of us met in the west of the city for more bench-marking antics.

Team Griff heads off to Chapelfields, Team Tall Rich and Max took the long run whilst Leanne and I wandered around the pub, but in a bench-dense area.

Leanne thought she'd gotten the easy route but very quickly regretted being partnered with me.

We can do different exercises on every bench!!

We had seven benches plus two bonus unknowns, so many exercises! Even so, we were first back to the pub. Babs was a close second.

I left Nick to do an extra run

She gave us a good update about their benchmarking session.

Basically, nothing happened.

Rich and Max were last in after their longer run, we discussed benches over a pint or two and agreed on a suitable run report pun.

There were no hedges, but it'll do.

To map benches in the Micklegate Ward

Looks at how York does to make the place an age friendly city through World Health Organisation checks. Age Friendly York is currently looking at Getting Out And About and residents are saying they need benches to break up their journey so they can get to the shops and other places.
