Bread & Butter in Bow
8 GoodGymers made their way 3.0km to help their local community in Newham.

Lovely midweek session with a quarter of the squad comprised of new runners, Hitesh and Connie a big GoodGym welcome, look forward to seeing you more this summer, getting more miles and deeds under your belt.
Random Weekly Question: "What's a good gift you've given or received?" Refurbed radios, sentimental record framing, not an iron, a double bass, a puzzle game and more.
We then hopped over to Get Out Gardens. Amongst the chatter we managed some work; Connie and Matt skimmed the pond (and saved aquatic life), Dan and Hils turned the compost (and got a workout), Sharon and Hitesh hydrated the plants (sustaining life) and Kev and I weeded (err, destroying life?). All small tasks on the face of it, but added up over the years it's what helps keep this delightful space intact.
Glad to see everyone nestling in for a drink post-run, sorry had to rush off, but will share a cheers with you all next week. We head to Abbey Gardens, sign up here for a short jog down the Greenway and to lend a hand to another volunteer powered beauty.
Till then,
B
