Leticia and I helped Voices of Hope carry a few dozen food boxes down 4 flights of stairs ready to be loaded into delivery cars and vans. It was a hot and sweaty day, but thank goodness the 'Room Where it Happened' (where the boxes were being filled and sealed, that is) was air conditioned! Up and down we went for an hour and a half until there were no more boxes to be carried... phew (and far between)!! I'm looking forward to doing it again soon :)
