Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Katherine (she/her)
1 Goodgymer ran to help an older person with their computer.
Having decided it was too far to run the whole way to see Mrs J, Katherine decided to drive part way and run part way. Half the petrol and she still gets in a run - win win!
Mrs J wanted some help with downloading and printing some crochet and knitting patterns for some cute little gnomes with bumble bees on their hats. Katherine set to work helping with this and whilst the computer was relatively slow, everything seemed to work in the end and Mrs J was delighted when the patterns finally printed out. Once this was done, Katherine and Mrs J went back through the steps so that Mrs J could make some notes on how to do this for next time. Katherine also showed Mrs J how to download the patterns on her tablet so that she can view them from there if she doesn't want to print them out in future.
They both enjoyed talking about their love of crafting and Mrs J kindly gave Katherine two old cross stitch magazines that she was no longer able to make use of as she struggles to see the small stitches.
Katherine enjoyed her jog back to the car with the magazines under her arm and both ladies can't wait to get started on their next crafting project!
