"You've made someone very happy today" said Ms H as she surveyed her freshly weeded front garden. She had been very stressed about the amount of green emerging through her gravel; her inability to control the weeds made her feel like the roof was caving in. But Rebecca and I had blitzed through them in no time, armed with a paint scraper and a handy stick to make sure the roots didnt resprout the moment our back was turned. Ms H was delighted and after a brief chat we strolled off with the sense of a good job done.
