A litter walk in the rain
3 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Newham.

Such a change in the weather since the last time we helped with the the litter pick at Wanstead Park.
Reduced numbers met at The Temple but definitely no lack of enthusiasm for helping to improve the environment for the local wildlife.
Kevin and I met Hilary who was a little soggy after her run from West Ham.....she is doing a virtual LEJOG and is halfway through England.
We signed in and headed off to pick litter but we really wanted to see the Longhorn cows who have a temporary residence in the park with a possible plan to have a herd back in the park on a permanent basis.
90 minutes later we returned to the Temple with bags of rubbish ensuring a safer park for the local wildlife.
Litter picked it was time for coffee,so we set off to the coffee hut and caught a glimpse of the cows in the distance tree line.....with coffee in hand we headed towards the trees but sadly the cows had moved on.....maybe next time.
