A soggy six took on tonights 6k run with a HILLY HILL thrown in for good measure to Bloomfield Allotments to mark out planting beds on a plot of ground .

Trying not to think about our fellow Goodgym runners who are possibly enjoying warmer climates on their holidays at the moment, we took the damp humid drizzle in our stride as we made our way to the west side of Bath and up the famously steep Holloway Hill, taking a minute to grab a breath at the summit with some walking lunges and press ups.

A final dash along the Bear flat to our task destination at Bloomfield Allotments where Our host was waiting to guide us through the myriad of Allotments to a plot on the far side in need of some Goodgym attention.

Our first job was to shift slabs and roll back the tarpaulin to UNEARTH THE EARTH and a few hidden surprises in the form of a Newt , Slow worms, flying Ants and a family of Frogs hiding in a stack of hay. Screams and hopping but I don't mean the frogs .

Thankfully Mary and Lucy like holding ALL CREATURES GREAT and SMALL and quickly had them safely out of harms way so we could start measuring and marking the Beds and Paths with pegs and string .

It took just 25 minutes to complete the task tonight. So we took a longer route back along the Linear way down through Oldfield park and along the new riverside development and a final chance for some tricep dips and a bit of planking before reaching our destination for a good stretch out.

Thank you Rosie for Backmarking and Pascale for sprinting up to us from the train station, you all show great commitment and should feel proud of a splendid job done ... Yet again!! Blooming marvellous bunch.
